Makeup brushes are something every make-up addict would have. We're sure your vanity is filled with several brushes as you're reading this. Some brand new, some crusty old, some just there and some of your favorites you refuse to throw. No doubt, we buy them quite often.
But…are you taking the right care of them? Do you wash your makeup brushes? When was the last time you did? We hope you have an answer to that!
According to Research, 61% of women who use makeup brushes clean them less than once a month or not at all.

Here's what happens when you don't wash your brushes :
1. Clogged Up Pores - You don't touch your face, keep your fingers away, your phone at a distance, but……use some filthy brushes? Um, if you've been breaking out in spite of taking all the possible precautions, we think you've found your demon!
If you don't wash your makeup brushes, you spread the dirt and bacteria from your face to your makeup…..and then, BACK TO YOUR FACE!

2.Staph Infection - Well known fact, makeup brushes can accumulate dead skin cells, dirt, oil, bacteria and other things that make us go ew. These include Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Ecoli and Fungus. It gets worse, wait for the tea we 'bout to spill. An Australian woman contracted a staph infection after sharing her makeup brushes with a friend, resulting in paralysis in her arms and legs.

3.You may attract bugs - Yes, we ain't lying about this. Your makeup brushes may be partying with bacteria, fungus, and top it off, we've got some bugs too.
